I understand why humans renounce identity to join religious orders.
I imagine that to abide in the purity of devotion is much simpler without the proximity to void that an engaged life offers.
There's a structured separation of the layers of experience.
A handing over of identity acts a doorway into the abstract.
The abstract is/leads to god.
Yet here we are in the Temple of the Whole Human, following this ancient path of presence.
We don't have the option of taking vows and stepping into an Order that would have us because there is no Order.
We are the Order, we're creating the Order.
And it's no longer structured and dogmatic, the order is the freestyling organic alchemical processes within us.
The Body Order.
Burning off the stuff - all the skins of who you are not - provides the fuel to traverse the void.
How many layers are you yet to shed?

10h14, Galerie Eric Mouchet, rue Jacob, Paris 6e. Une danse avec Christine Crozat, lors de l’installation de son exposition « Se rencontrer » dont le vernissage est aujourd’hui. Elle verse au sol des paillettes de savon d’Alep en pure huile d’olive saponifiée, produite par des savonneries locales en Syrie, avant la guerre.
Le savon est fourni par Karawan, marque engagée dans une démarche d’économie solidaire et de développement durable.

The soap is provided by Karawan, a brand committed to a social-based economy and sustainable development.
