"Naturism" is an expression of the normalization of the clothes-free body in a social atmosphere that is not charged with sexuality. Most modern cultures indoctrinate us with the idea that being nude, if not in private, is intrinsically a sexual provocation. Every enlightened and thoughtful person in the world knows this is nonsense. The experience of being nude in a broader setting is truly liberating and should not be denied to anyone. Social interaction becomes more honest when textile barriers are down. Experiencing nature becomes more connected and sensual. Naturism is ultimately about becoming a more conciliatory human... with the world and with other humans.

We are open to receiving suggestions, invitations, submissions, ideas, contributions... We are looking for people who can shoot video (and photos) at places and times that are difficult for us to get to. Please get in touch. nomad@naked-club.org

An Epilogue for OTRO TEATRO: True Love furthers luciana achugar’s search for another kind of theater; performance as ritual. An occasion for communion and healing that viscerally activates the passive spectator. A ritual of growing a sensational, connected and decolonized collective body, full of love and magic; of growing a ’post-civilized’ utopian collective body for audience and performers.

Im Kurzstück der Künstlerin Sol Bilbao Luciux begegnen sich die zwei Tänzer in einem von Dunkelheit umgebenen Raum. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Komponisten Fabrizio Di Salvo wurden Klänge und Geräusche in enger Symbiose zu ihrer Bewegung komponiert. Entstanden ist ein immersives Gesamtwerk, das der Frage nach der Wirkung eben dieser Instabilität auf den körperlichen und emotionalen Zustand der beiden Darsteller nachgeht.

Die Spanierin Sol Bilbao Lucuix ist ausgebildete Tänzerin und Choreografin und ist seit 2008 Ballett-Ensemblemitglied am Theater Basel. Seit 2009 choreografiert sie für die Reihe DanceLab am Theater Basel und erarbeitet eigene Stücke für die freie Szene in der Schweiz und international.

THE WANDERERS PEACE ist eine biografisch-dokumentarische Reise durch das Leben der deutschen Tänzerin Béatrice «Trixie» Cordua. Mit Blick auf die Vergangenheit untersucht sie mit tänzerischen, sprachlichen und bildlichen Elementen die Veränderungen ihres Körpers, aber auch diejenigen der Geschichte des Tanzes und lässt so einen Teil der Tanzgeschichte der letzten Jahrzehnte wieder aufleben.

Die geborene Zürcherin Nicole Seiler performte zunächst in Produktionen verschiedener Künstler, bevor sie 2002 ihre eigene Kompanie in Lausanne gründete, mit der sie international tourt. In ihrer Arbeit spielen Bild und Video eine grosse Rolle und es entstehen so unterschiedlichste Formate wie Bühnenstücke, Videoarbeiten, Performances und choreografische Installationen.
