QUADRO VIVO. Installed performance, which can also be called durational work, where it does not matter when the public arrives to have contact with the work. 3 hours and 5 different works / bodies happening in the same space at the same time, immersed and delivered with their own research to these conditions. Time, Space, Relations and Ongoings ... In these studies each one within his subject experiences a rising and awakening of his individual essence and at the same time are the elements that compose the "living" picture/painting.
Visitors are invited to draw, circle through the space between Artists, questioning their limits, and witness the intense experience of the Performer closely.

The concept of Juliana Wähner brings together works from Ana Kavalis, David Abreu Leandro, Victor Oliveira, Mana Lobato and Juliana herself with the participation of Antonio Vinícius Albuquerque Peixoto, Ayeska Borenstein Ariza, Douglas Paranhos, Gouramani Menezes, Italo Spinelli and Jamile Moreira.

Take 1 m2 of the world, put into the light and work the 1 m3 (bodies, spaces and time) experiencing and uniting through vibration of the 4th dimension. Where ALL can become ONE. Where all kind of differences doesn’t matter. And nether time.

The question is: What is the transmission between bodies, between expressions, between essences, between Volumes, the incorporations of spaces, between energies ...?

history / politics = 0 / multiple
body = 0 / all

QUADRO VIVO. Performance instalada, que também pode ser chamada de obra duracional, onde não importa em que momento o público chega para ter contato com a obra. Serão 3 horas com 5 trabalhos de artistas/corpos acontecendo no mesmo espaço ao mesmo tempo, imersos e entregues com suas próprias pesquisas a essas condições. Tempo, espaço e o que vier… Nesses estudos cada um dentro da sua matéria experimenta um nascer e acordar de suas essências individuais e ao mesmo tempo são os elementos que compõem o quadro “vivo”.
Os visitantes são convidados a desenhar, circular pelo espaço entre os Artistas, questionando seus limites, além de testemunhar a intensa experiência do Performer de perto.

LIVE performance in Athen 2018
for The performance arts festival, Beyond Human Impulses, began at Mengi in Reykjavik on February 2nd, 2016 as a monthly performance series occurring on the first Monday of the month. Between its inaugural performance and July 2017, 75 performances were realized. The festival was initiated by five female Icelandic artists: Bryndís Hrönn Ragnarsdóttir, Ingibjörg Magnadóttir, Eva Ísleifsdóttir, Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir, and Katrín Inga Hjördísar Jónsdóttir, who all share equally the role of curator while also performing in the festival themselves.
The performance EGO FRIENDLY LOVE is about loving yourself and then you can love the World.
Part from the text in the performance: My purpose is myself, no one can follow me or support me, except myself. No one can encourage me except myself. I will stand firmly, I will stand by myself and encourage myself, and I will remember to love myself for being myself. I am unique, powerful. ////
Erin Honeycutt for Artzine.is; We decided it was, more or less, when we decided to go beyond the human impulses of anxiety and worry to embrace an impulse that is co-creative, empathetic to the world at large, and creating a container in which to perform and enact rituals that transform the performer and include the audience in the transformation. Consider Katrín Inga Hjördísar Jónsdóttir’s Sunday performance Ego Friendly Love: a ritual in the nude in which she placed flowerpots and triangular mirrors around the room with audience members involved in the reflections.
