No dia 03 de Outubro de 2016 o prédio da reitoria da UFRJ pegou fogo, nele ficam a Escola de Belas Artes, a faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo e o curso
GPDES.
A partir daí o descaso que sempre foi enorme com o ensino de arte no país, com a EBA, ficou tão evidente e tão gritante que não nos restava outra opção além de ocupar.
Ocupar, preencher, encontrar-se em, exercer.
Denunciar com o corpo os indícios de uma obra que gerou uma infiltração e goteiras que destruíram nossa biblioteca, de um incêndio que destruiu nosso prédio.

The video was screened in the Fall of 2012 in a solo evening of video works entitled, "Can't you show me nothing but surrender?" for Co-Worker Projects at Entwine, NY, NY.
Made after a series of studio studies in the Spring of 2012. Butchness on display, exploring dance without a gendered affectation, and listening to Patti Smith's iconic "Horses," where she tells the story of Johnny. The line, "Can't you show me nothing but surrender?" from "Horses" spoke to the play between the exposure and withholding of gender in the presentation of the body.
